Stillwater

Stillwater Restaurant established in 2000, housed in an 1830’s flour mill by the banks of kanamaluka/Tamar River focuses on local produce with exceptional service.

Stillwater has been highly regarded since it first opened its doors in October 2000 and has received many accolades both national and state.

With a strong focus on local produce, the menu will reflect the different seasons. The Chefs have a great relationship with suppliers with communication going both ways with some producers asking what can they plant that we’d like to use or conversely what they may have an abundance of that the team can design a dish around.

The wine list is predominantly Tasmanian, with a focus on what the state produces best, that is sparkling wine, pinot noir and chardonnay. There are some great examples of riesling, pinot gris and rosé, even a few great examples of cool climate shiraz and cabernet. Our spirits list features a huge range of the finest Tasmania can offer with many being recognised as the world’s best including vodka, gin and whisky.

Stillwater aims to never rest on laurels and provides professional, yet humble service tailored to the guest’s needs. The team prides itself on being knowledgeable and to take you on a journey of the best Tasmania has to offer.
